I have been on Yaz for about 7 months now. On the first week of my pills, i had sex on a monday. We first used a condom, but after that, we had sex again and didnt use one. I am nervous that the "pre-cum" might make me pregnant. Also, if i dont always take the pill on the exact same time of the day, for ex: i take one at 10 pm, the next day at 12 am, the next at 8 pm will that make it ineffective? Thank youuuu very muchh

For BC pills to be MOST EFFECTIVE, it's best to take them at the exact same time everyday. The way you take them, it makes it LESS effective, but not completely ineffective. The chances of you being pregnant are, I'd say, slim to none. If he went from taking the condom off to doing it again within 10 minutes, I'd be a little more concerned about the previous sperm, but not too much. Plus being on birth control makes it even less likely that you are. Relax. IF you miss a period, test. It's the only way to know for sure.

Well.. the good thing is he didnt come the first time, the only reason we did it again was because he wanted to finish, but he pulled out before he came. So maybe im just being super paranoid..

for the previous poster, missing pills causes it to be less effective.... to the original poster: you should be ok, since you haven't missed any pills,however, like was stated earlier..for the pills to be most effective you need to take them at the same time everyday, taking them at the same time everyday also insures you dont accidently skip a pill...you should set an alarm on your phone just in case you forget...if you dont want any accidents I'd either start using a condom..or take the pills on time as directed
