this has been going on for quite some time now and it scares me..I deal with a lot of stress...I can swallow fine but it's almost like I want to reach down into my chest and take the boulder out that's pressing down on me...I'm 38, recently lost 21 lbs, had a lot of heart tests done (results looked great)...I'm trying to quit smoking but I never smoked a lot to begin with...last chest x-ray just showed some stuff that the dr. said most all people have...I feel like I need to take deep breaths all the time...I do take Lorazapam but it makes me so sleepy...I keep worrying about lung cancer...someone please help

I kind of have this same problem. It's not really tightness for me, but it feels like I need a deep breath, or a yawn, to make everything feel ok or something. I just force myself to yawn a lot, but I dunno if that's a good thing. Sorry I can't help more =/
