Q: Tight neck muscles

I am suffering from TMJ. I have a very tight, stiff neck and back of head, which is causing severe nausea and dizziness. Can anyone suggest anything which will give me some relief? If anyone could help at all I would be very grateful.

tried heat? I sometimes use a plastic bottle filled with hot water and place it on the area..
