I thought i had a tight foreskin for a while, so i decided to visit my doctor. I could retract my foreskin over the glans when i was flaccid, but couldn't when i was erect. I was referred to a Urologist who examined me and suggested i apply some E45 cream for a year, and then in about 6 months i will return to see if circumcision is required. The situation with my foreskin is still the same, and i can't retract it when my penis is erect. The Urologist said 'the foreskin is a little bit tight' but didn't feel the need to circumcise instantly.
Here's the thing, in a couple of weeks i'm going to be having sex with my girlfriend (for the first time ever). Frankly, i think i might be okay as i've never had pain while masturbating, but from reading various stories i gather that sex is a completely different kettle of fish.
I'm kind of worried about what will happen during sex and if it will be painful, but i'm also thinking that surely knowing that i'm 16/17, the Urologist would have warned me if sex was likely to be a problem, and surely he must have been aware that i may be having sex around this age?
I really hope there is no problem, as i haven't had any problems so far, but all of these stories about frenulums ripping are really starting to scare me.
Could someone give me some advice, or some moral support?
Many thanks
