My friend will have a tickling sensation in his feet during the nights. Because of that, he is not able to sleep properly. The feels the tickling sensation only during the nights and he will have to go for a walk or something, when it gets worse. I just want to know what is the reason for this ? and is there anyway by which this can be controlled ?? Please advice...

The "pins and needles" sensation is what led my GP to send me to a Neurolgist. Not a great sign. But there are about 12 different things it could be. They have to "rule out" by MRI's, CAT's, Nerve conduction, blood work. Just a bunch fo stuff. C- my post above.
Good Luck!!

Hi, i have been with him for the walks he takes when he has the sensation. Its just the normal one. When he walks, he feels better, but after that when he gets back to bed, the same things starts in some time.. He never gets to sleep properly because of this.. He keeps moving his legs here and there during all the night. Please advice.

I have had the same problem with my right foot. A week ago, I read that reducing the amount of carbohydrates in my diet might help. I tried it, and it seemed to work. I'm not positive lowering the carbohydrates was what actually solved the problem -- but I don't know what else it could have been. I didn't change any of my other habits/routine. Maybe it will work for others, too. You don't have to drastically reduce your carbs. I just try to get about a third of my calories from carbs. I hope it helps you, because I know how terribly frustrating this problem can be.
