I got a tick bite about 5 days ago. I got the tick off(I'm not sure) and now the bite site is red around the outside and swollen and now black around the inside. It is painful around my knee (I was biten beside my right knee) and it is starting to spread up my leg and down my leg. Is it possible that it was a small spider instead of a tick? Or is it just getting infected? I don't know what this is and I'm worried.

Yes, please go see a doctor as soon as possible. This could be Lyme disease or some other poisonous type of bite from the sound of it. Lyme disease is very serious.
