I have been having problems with anxiety recently and yesterday, i began to have some numbness on the right side of my head in the parital portion that extended to the right temporal region and cheek. i have experienced some numbness off and on in the right leg with some heaviness in it. i have no dizziness, blurred vision, slurring of speeh or weakness. i do have disc problems as well in the lumbar region. i am somewaht confused and concerned. i have taken my blood pressure in the ankle region and brachial region to determine my risk for peripheral arterial disease at home and given...this is without a doppler and my risk is at 1.13 which the norm is .90-1.30. these sensations come and go and i'm quite perplexed about them because i don't understand why i would be having such symptoms yesterday and today. you would think if it was tia's there would be something more than just the numbness i experience for less than 10 seconds at a time to support that it would be such a thing but if anyone else has experienced such things and could shed some insight, i'd appreciate it. i am trying to determine if i want to go to the dr over this because i don't think we should chalk everything up to anxiety symptoms even if you are experiencing some levels of anxiety at the present time. i was going to ask a dr on here but none available. i have an rn degree but i've never encountered such odd symptoms to this mynute level so therefore, i am puzzled. if anyone cares to shed some light, i'd appreciate it. i am 43 years old. thank you.
