TIA& Alcohol consumption

I suffered a TIA recently, fortunately no lingering effects. I typically have a couple of glasses of wine 2 or 3 days per week. Is it unsafe for me to consume alcohol while trying to prevent any future strokes?

Your wine intake is moderate and should be OK.
You should fulfill the other aspects of secondary atherosclerotic prevention including having a normal blood pressure, cholesterol in the desirable range, controlling weight, not smoking, not being exposed to secondary smoke, regular physical activity, etc.
Hopefully you are not diabetic and have an acceptable family history. Be aware that I do not know your age, habits, family history, personal history, etc.
And please note that I am unable to diagnose medical conditions online.
