Q: thyroid nodule growth

If a thyroid nodule has grown 8mm in 4.5 month does this mean it's cancer or can a tumor grow this fast.

I had a fast groiwn tumor and it was removed..It went fromone side of mythroat to the other..Thankfully it was caught in time..

In all likelyhood a scan will be done adn they can do a needle biosy and it hurts a little if that doesn't show anything then in all likelyhood they will still go in to remove the nodule if it shows any hot spots like mine did..You won't know until it;s taken care of..Best of luck to you..
