Q: Thyroid medicine cause spotting and cramping ?

I am 41 and was diagnosed with hypothyroidism and I have been taking Levothyroxin for 3 weeks. I had a normal period 2 weeks ago and this past week I have had brown discharge and a lot of cramping is this a side effect of the medicine?
