im 27 years old, im 5'3" and i only weigh 85 lbs. i know im underweight but i think im healthy, i dont get sick or anything. my mom was 75lbs when she was my age; i think it runs in our family. i had applied for a life insurance three times in the last year and i was declined 3 times. they said its because i'm underweight. i'm going to the doctor tomorrow and i don't know what to tell him. what do i need to do? do i need some blood tests done? i need some advice please. thank you!

Hyperthyroidism can be associated with underweight.
You'll be probably checked for thyroid hormones level and also, for blood sugar level.
Do you practice excessive physical activity?
Are you stressing too much?
Do you have poor appetite or you're eating well, but, still, not gaining any weight?
