i am very tired and put on on weight and depressed i have underactive thyriod history in my family which took the doctors five years to diagnose the person so i went to the doctors for a blood test they told me it was normal with a level of 1.08 and i just wanted to know what the acceptable levels are for this.

If this is TSH they are referring to than a normal level is between 0.34 - 5.6 mu/L. So 1.08 would be classed as normal.
