Q: Thumb joint stiff and bent

Hi--
Just noticed today that my one year old daughters thumb is bent at the joint and she is unable to straighten it. We have not noticed this until today. It is stiff/stuck bent, I've tried to straighten it and can not. It does not seem to be bothering her. Does anyone know what this may be?

Hi Leanne, I just noticed the same thing in my 2 year old daughter today. Did you ever find out what the problem was?
