I think I have thrombosed hemoroids?
I think this is what I have. First it felt like I couldn't even have a comfortable BM. Now it's a piercing sharp pain on the left side. Its almost as if I dread going to the bathroom. I have throbbing also after a BM for a little while. Can anything stop this? Reading some of these, is freaking me out. It obviously affects a lot of people, but it's quite embarrassing. I am not one to go to the doctors, unless I have to. So my question is "Is this sharp pain a thrombosed hemi, and will it burst and bleed? Or is there a chance it won't and go away itself?" Also, if it's internal what creams or home remedies can you put inside? This whole experience makes me nervous and I get anxiety from worrying. :/

It could be a thrombost hemmorhoid. But you could also have a fissure, which is a cut in the tissue from lots of constipation or such.

I would recommend going to the doctor, to see what you may have, if it is indeed a hemmerhoid or maybe a fissue.

When I had a fissure, it took a long time to heal--- but I had a bad one. I had to be careful about my diet and exercise so I didn't have constipation. It was painful for weeks and got better slowly than it was more tolerable. Than I think it was completely healed. Again I had a bad one.

External Hemorrhoid bursting internally
I recently got this external hemorrhoid which was the size of a nickel. I was in the shower and I was feeling it to see how big it was I was applying moderate pressure on it and then I felt a little burst and it was suddenly gone. No external bleeding or anything. I had my wife take a look and she said that there was a very purple colored looking bruse the diameter of a silver dollar where that hemorrhoid was. After a couples of weeks, it all gone. Then it came back a few weeks later, I squeezed it a little and it once again burst internally and created a large purple looking bruse. Has anyone heard of such a thing and should I be concerned about something bursting inside the skin? I called the help nurse with my insurance company and she seemed to think that it wasn't a hemorrhoid because they never burst inside, they burst out the skin. She tried to tell me that it may have been an infection, but I'm pretty certain it was a hemorrhoid, I have had external hemorrhoids before.

Can i Walk, kneel, run without pushing my burst Hemorrhoid out?
OK guys so after the hemorrhoid burstS how long after will it heal and stop bleeding ? i have a huge self esteem problem ever since i got my hemorrhoid at an early age when i was like 18,19 and i'm a 21 year old gay man and i'm basically the bottom i know it's to much info. but i have this huge cut on my anus and i have a boyfriend that is the Love of my life and he says he doesn't care if i have an injured bumm He'll love me no matter what. but it gets me so depressed that i cannot have sexual contact with him cuz i'm injured and i cry and cry and he says he'll wait until i am fine and all healed up. so again my question is how long does it take for an injury like this one to heal and can i ever have sex again!!?? I HOPE I DON'T OFFEND ANYONE BY SAYING all THIS BUT I'M JUST DESPERATE TO KNOW!! and you know what when i walk and sit it seems to want to grow out again and bleeds i'm doing everything in my power to be careful and it still gets bad what should i do guys i hope someone will answer me. thanks!

thrombosed hemmroid
i am suffering from a thrombosed hemmi . the best advice i can give is go to the doctor or er and have it lanced open this will make the healing less painful after a day or two . then add a lot of fiber to your diet every meal have some , and last hot sitz bath help alot and some ice off and on .get some extra strength hememroid cream and apply 3-4 time a day. gets some grape juice or if you prefer citracel . also if possibe after bowel movement take bath and apply cream . ps if you do go to the doctors they may prescribe a suppository and although un comfortable they do work .

Hi there ..
Most of medical stuff like ointments or tablets to put inside cover up problem but it does not SOLVE the CAUSE of the problem...If you follow strictly, I repeat strictly my advises ..the lumps will slowly and gradually abate .

1, do keep drink pure water regime every day 2-3 liter

2) Do regular excercise at LEAST 1 hour a day 5times a week

3) Try to avoid red meat and also any animal proteins if possible or at least REDUCE it to minimal levels (once or twice a week)

4)VERY IMPORTANT don't mix meal but try to eat food separately according to chemical structure. There are three main groups :protein meals, neutral foods and starch meals..the basic idea is not eat together the starch and proteins at the same time..I strongly advice you to buy a bookfrom Gundrun Jonsson Gut Reaction on Amazon or Ebay they sell it foe few dollars..

5)Try to eat rather less then to feel of being completely full and more times a day 3-5 times

6, Avoid spicy food completely,Alcohol,smoking ..

7) Avoid eating anything fried or baked in oven, also ban on eating any sort of bread and bakery , fresh or steamed or boiled instead...

8,Do not eat ANY processed food!Especially tins, white bakery chips,

9) VERY IMPOTANT DO NOT EAT FOOD WIT SUGER CONTENT AS IT IS NOT NATURAL FOR HUMANS AND it cuases severe and serious disbalance in yor intestines! So I repeat no candies or sugar in ANY form!(cakes, bonbons, sweets, sugar in tee ecetr..)

10) At least 50% of your daily intake should be a vegetable

Instead of meet very good substitute are lentils, beans, soya, peas ecetr..

If you follow these rules seriously you will soon feel the results..(1-3 months) If not let me know and I will tell you you havent followed the rulles because these rulles works 100% on anyone... including me and many cases of my friends family ..colleagues..

Chinese medicine can help
The last post is spot on. I would like to add that
Chinese medicine herbs can be fantastic in preventing
Future hemorrhoids a herbal remedy " Bu Zhong
Yi Qi Tang" is often used. Over time prolapses are
Reduced and hemorroids become less frequent.

In the meantime keep the area clean. Preferably use a
Gause on the area with a little betadine to keep
It clean.

Chinese herbs can also offer stool softening agents
That reduce the strain if you suffer with it. See a good
Herbalist, try not to self treat.

Good luck

Orrible things!
Mine was like a gobstopper and it was excruciating, really really painfull and throbbing. Today it turned a deep blood red colour, was at its most painful, and then burst whilst I was walking! Quite a bit of goupy thick blood oozed out. Thank god I was not at work lol. It developed on the sunday morning after a heavy night out partying, I wonder if the beer intake had anything to do with it? it was excrucating by the tuesday, I started applying Prep H and ice packs, and then it burst on the thursday. Still a bit tender but the pain is far far less. Will carry on applying preparation H cream to aid healing. Horrible things!

Did it bleed out in your shorts? What did you do with the shorts? Throw them out? Goupy means that it was clotted.

Hemorrhoids are terrible. I recovered from a severe case that started with severe pain and oozing for a few days. Then a vein became thrombosed. It was seriously like an almond protruding out of the side of my anus. All external. However at the time I also had stuff coming out from the inside too. I am trying to speak openly- I am a physician, so I know all the medical jargon, but the truth of the matter is this was really stressful and scary. I didnt have any medical intervention. I didn't want any cutting and I didn't feel like rubber bands around any of my parts. What if they got the testes on accident Wink Anyway- I layed around for a week and my only mis-step was that I didnt start icing soon enough. Every two hours in the warm bath followed by 20 minutes of ICE right on my lesions. It started to reduce in pain after a few days and then slowly over the next 3-5 days in shrunk. It has been over two months now and I have to be real gentle with wiping, exercise, bowel movements, etc. FYI I am in great nutritional and digestive health. Lots of water, fiber, veggies, etc. This was totally STRESS induced. The biggest long term strategy: A book named- "Feelings Buried Alive Never Die- Karol Truman". Blessings and good luck. You WILL HEAL. Scary stuff though. Also- In one of the online forums somewhere, somebody described it like a monkey testicle hanging out of your arse! Brilliant and TRUE.

i need help
Hi I have had hemorrhoid before that have come and gone, with a little bright red blood on toilet paper when wiping. I got them from childbearing, constipation or diarrhea both but last week I had alot of blood in the toilet and I am 44 and I had a hysterectomy so I don't have periods anymore for over 10 years now, any ways a couple days later it happen again so I just thought it must just be a very bad hemorrhoid I had it do that once before but it only happen one time so anywas it has turn the whole tolet bowel bright red 7 times in 6 days and I didn't even have a bowel movement each time just pressure to go and the last two times happen with in a couple of hours of each one this morning, oh by the way I had open food surgery Friday, but it start before this any ways when my husband seen all the blood in the toilet the the second time he took me to er and they exams and that hurt worse then surgery the said it was a big external hemorrhoid that scale or open something like that told me two pick up some medicine at pharmacy tucks, suppositories and to follow up with my doc if it does get better. The question I have was from all info I found on internet it say when you have bleeding like this no matter if they find hemorrhoids or not u should have colon screen because that's a sign of cancer and the info they gave me on hemorrhoids says usually external hemorrhoids are painless and you might have a little blood on toilet paper there's hardly any on the paper when wiping or at this point patting but there is a lot in toilet and the did confirm that I am bleed from the back hole and not the front does any one know is this normal ? does this mean it bust open ? should I talk to my family doctors should having my colon exam ? I am not 50 yet and as far as I know no one in my family had issue with Colon cancer. And if it is a burst hemorrhoid how long will I be bleed this much in the toilet and remember it been severely bleed for 6 day already and I can't soak in a bath for 12 more days because of surgery can any one please help me thanks

I'm in a similar situation. I also had a lump on my rear that caused some pain. I knew it was an external hemorrhoid as I've had two previously, but they always just shrunk away.
This one burst while at work and it's been three days since then.
I haven't been back into work because my job is very physical and I was waiting for the bleeding to stop.
The bleeding is a trickle now, a few drops an hour but I was hoping for a complete stop, I'd hate to re-injure myself.
I've keeping the area very clean, and using bandages and antibiotic cream to keep any bacteria down.
There is a little pain and discomfort when sitting but that might just be the large gauze pads I'm using.
I'll be going back to work tomorrow (I hate staying home alone) and hoping I don't aggravate it.
I'm in incredible shape and have an outstanding diet but when I'm at work the only place I can get any peace is in the restroom so I attribute this to long stints on the toilet (often till my legs would fall asleep) a couple times a day.

Zaharudin, contact your doctor immediately. Difficulty breathing is a serious side-effect that could mean the medication is seriously harming you. If you can't talk to your doctor, go to the emergency room; excessive bleeding combined with paleness and difficulty breathing is something they will take seriously. (In some areas, the Emergency Room can't refuse to treat you, even if you can't pay.) It's best not to risk ignoring it when you're having side-effects that are listed under the "contact your doctor immediately" section.
