Q: Throbbing pain on toe

My left leg's small finger was paining at the base of the nail for two months. My physician suspected septic and dead nail and advised to remove with a small surgery; which I got it done. The would is recovering, however suddenly, sometimes I am getting unbearable needle throbbing pain from bottom of this left leg's small finger.

I am scared. Why this is happening? what is the remedy?
