Hello,

Welcome to ehealthforum

Throbbing pain can be due to injury, lung disorders, gall bladder issues, muscular pain etc.Since it has been a week and is persistent it requires clinical examination to give an exact diagnosis.
Consider visiting a Physician for evaluation.

Take Care!
