Q: Throbbing heart beat in ears

Hi I have been suffering from a couple of annoying problems, I have this loud whooshing, throbbing of my heart in my ears, it is so bad it keeps me awake at night. I know I've read a couple of other posts about this, but no one seems to have an answer to what the cause is. Does any one have any insite?
