The last few days I have expereienced throbbing between my scalp and skull an inch or so above my left ear. It is not painful at this point, but very disrupting. Sleep and work is being compromised. If I press on it with my fingers it stops - sometimes for a few minutes. I have never experienced this before. Should I be concerned? Should I see my General MD?

By all means see your family doctor. You may be experiencing a neuromuscular/vascular
issue in the posterior inferior border of the left temporal muscle. A dentist/TMJ specialist may be needed.
