Q: Throat Swollen

My throat has been swollen for about five weeks now. I went to the doctor when my throat started swelling and the doctor told me that I had a throat Infection. He gave me some antibotics for it and I took all of it and my throat is still swollen. I have a wisdom tooth coming in and a broken tooth that is rotten, could that be one of the reasons why my throat is swollen? My whole throat is swollen even the glands and muscles, from my ears to my chin and all the way to my collar bone. I'm really hurting at times too.

If someone could give me some advice, I would really appreciate it!!!

I would go and see an ENT (ear, nose, throat) specialist. They will be able to treat this more effectively.
