Q: throat pain after sneezing

About six months ago, I had the flu, for the first time in years. One of the after effects, was pain in my throat after sneezing. The muscles in my throat tense up and it feels quite soar. This pain only exists when I sneeze. I think it is alergy related, but am not sure.
