Soo, last friday I went to the doctor about the Lymph Nodes on my Jaw Line that I expected to have been caused by the Cold Sores I had. He felt the Nodes and said they were swollen indeed, he then looked at my throat and said I had a Mild Throat infection, I did indeed have a bit of a sore throat when swallowing so I belived him...Anyways, Yesterday I looked at my throat for the first time in a few days since I noticed the pain seemed the be decreasing and got curious. What I noticed though was that my left tonsil was quite a bit bigger then my right tonsil! It kinda scared me a bit and I was wondering if this is normal during a throat infection? The lymph nodes on my jaw line are also still present.

I placed this in the Infectious Disease forum since the doctor said I had a Throat infection so I'll assume the question falls under this Category? Razz

Kind regards,

Kraggy.

Extremely eHealthy
Infections of throat can give enlargement of lymph nodes located along the underside of jaw on both sides.
Also, lymph nodes, can stay swollen for a period after the infection and symptoms have subsided.
