Q: Throat bleeding

Hi There,
I am 23 i have had a quinsy at the age of 22 and i have suffered with my throat since i was a kid.
Lately i have been getting sick quite alot and 9 times out of 10 there is quite alot of blood in it and my throat is really sore afterwards,
i have also had a cough for quite some time which i think adds to the blood in my spit after coughing and being sick as i have a swollen tonsill.
i was supposed to have my tonsills out a while ago but never received my appointment.

Do you think i need to have my tonsills taken out or would you suggest something else?
If so can you tell me a way to get it done quikly rather than waiting months to years to get it done as i am getting worried about it now?
