Q: Throat and Ear infection

I went to the doctors today and they diagnosed me with having a ear and throat infection and gave me- 28 Erythromycin e.s which is fine. The symptoms began Tuesday 28th April it is now Friday 1st May and i have to return to work Sunday 3rd May. My question is- is this contagious as its not a cold or flu which is how you normally pass infections on to other people?

Infections are not contagious. You're safe to go back to work.
