I would like to switch when i get my period, so I went to the healthy sexuality clinic and purchased JUST a third week of pills. I am on oral triclyclin-lo, sunday start. I took every pill up to three weeks, meaning id take my placebo today. Instead of taking a placebo today, i'd like to take ANOTHER week of week three pills, meaning id take the third week twice. After that, id take my placeo pills. Can i do this? If so, what are the side effects?

The result will probably be that you will delay your period by a week. This is however not a fool proof way to do it. You can still bleed and spot despite taking another week of active pills.
