I have been on trisprintec for about a year and a half. I am very good about it and take the pills within the same hour everyday. For the first time since we've been together my boyfriend and I had unprotected sex and he did not pull out. I am so afraid that I might not be okay. It is about 5 days after my period, and I haven't missed a pill. Do you think I am safe or should I get plan b?

Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
If you had been regular in taking the pills at scheduled time daily and have not missed taking any active pills in between, you should remain protected. If you had not been regular in taking the pills at scheduled time daily, you might be at risk for pregnancy. Wait and watch for your periods/withdrawal bleeding. Use back-up protection (condom/spermicide) for additional protection while having intercourse (if you are worried about pregnancy). Do not miss taking the pills (follow the missed-pill-protocol if you miss taking any active pills). For further discussion & clarifications, visit your doctor/gynecologist.
Take care.
