Fix What??? I know enough people who have been in your situation and the hitter never ever ever EVER changes. I'm a Male (have never and would never hit a girl) but iI know that if you can cross that line than you will over and over. One day blame something you said another blame the drink. Please for your own saftey don't let him keep doing this. This in most cases means a whole new circle of friends because people choose who to stick with. yeah i agree with stubedoo......Once they are an abuser they will always be an abuser...they say sorry i will never do it again i don't know what came over me....but then it will be the same for the rest of your relationship unless he seeks professional help then maybe there is a chance of change but he won't do it off his own back hun....seriously look after number one because no one else will look out for you...Take care......Jenny

i dealt with 5 years of mental abuse and it drained everything out of me.

i know how it feels when my mind knows i have to leave, but my heart wasn't ready to give him up. i didn't leave my abuser until i was ready. but it took so long for me to heal from that relationship.
