I recently had diarriah and after that my stool became thin and I have a hard BM.
Last 2 days I go normaly ( but the stool is still thin ) and I have a feeling that
there is still left in my rectum that I can't push out. Before this happened I was fine for a long time, normal once a day BM ( some times hard ), but for a week now I feel this changes. Can you tell me why do I feel this and what to do ? Thank you.

There are several possibilities, but it is not possible for me to provide you with a specific diagnosis based only upon the information that you have provided.

You should see your physician and, if necessary, obtain a consultation with a gastroenterologist if these symptoms persist.

Sincerely/ Robert A. Wascher, MD, FACS
