She is speaking about a precaution against your uterine lining becoming cancerous....If you have any questions, you may want to get a second opinion about this surgery with another OB-GYN...Take care...

Causes of repeated uterine lining thickness
I have a history of a thicken uterine lining. My doctor did a DNC 3yrs. ago and and removed a polp. Report came back negative and favorable. My lining has grown back since then. It now measures 13mm. I have no bleeding. He's not concern about any problems. Should I be concern? Will I have to have continuous DNC's? Do I have hyperplasia? Is there any treatment that can shrink my lining?
