It could still be the gallbladder. Perhaps you have a gallstone?

What have you done to reduce or manage the pain?

The Dr. said there were no stones and as far as the pain, I just live with it. Some days are worse than others.

Gallbladder pain is diagnosed with a number of tests. Which ones have you taken? Are you seeing a gastro-enterologist or GI specialist? You might want to ask for a CT-scan or even an MRI to get a more precise look at what's going on. How long have you been living with the discomfort?

Thanks for the reply. i just live with the pain and discomfort. I'm just tired of Dr's appointments and hearing that everything looks normal. Dr. said there are no Gallstones and I see a GI Dr. After my appointment this week, if he doesn't do anything and says everything is normal, then I'll just live with.

Please update us after the appointment with the gastro-intestinal specialist. Let us know what is up! Pain is not normal and I hope that you can find the answer.

Ok, so I had my Upper Endoscopy this past Friday. Dr. told my wife that with the naked eye, everything looked okay but we would know for sure when the Biopsy comes back. regarding the symptoms and pain, while I was post op, I guess I kept trying to talk with the Dr. about my symptoms and I'm told he wasn't going to do anything becaue the Ultrasound shows everything as normal. I'm also told that I ended up arguing with the Dr. bacause I was trying to get him to listen and he had other plans. I don't remember anything about what went on because I was still under the amnesia effect of the procedure and still waking up. The pain is still there and the upper pain in the stomach seems worse. I think I'll be one of many who end up slipping between the cracks. Now I'll wait for the pathology report.

Hi KniteNblu. It sounds like your symptoms have really got you upset. It must be frustrating when it seems like no one believes you. If the biopsy comes back clean, I'd suggest that you might want to see other types of health providers or even try to alternative medicine therapies. There might be an emotional source for the pain and discomfort you are feeling, but if you keep an open mind you might be able to change the course of the smyptoms.
