I found out I was pregnant on May 1 when I went in to the ER because of cramping and pressure...they did a blood test and the hcg levels came back positive(124) Everything was great for a couple weeks, I repeated the blood test a week later & it was up to 1,300. On May 23 I had my first prenatal visit. they again repeated the blood levels, and it was up to 5,000. The doctor said they should be doubling and be up to around 64,000-100,00 by this point... after i left the doctors office i started having bright red spotting that lasted for about 24 hours, along with pretty bad cramping.. I went to the ER again, they repeated the blood test..this was on May 25, the levels were at 6,300. They did an ultrasound as well and said that there was a sac, but no fetus or fetal pole...so they want to do a DNC to remove it since it hadn't passed. I refused the DNC because I am not convinced.. they don't sound to sure of anything they have told me.. first they thought it was ectopic.. then they said it was obbided(sp?) ovum. THe bleeding as completely stopped for now, but I'm still cramping pretty bad at times. If anyone has any advice or similar stories, please let me know! I'm trying to keep hope and prayers, but in the back of my mind there is a little doubt. Also, my last missed period was around 3/22..but the doctor said that doesnt mean anything about how far along I could be.. It's all so confusing to me!!!
