Sad okay um... I asked before what my clit was. Thanks again for answering Smile but many people told me to get a mirror and look up a picture of the body. I went to wikipedia- it was actually really helpful- but i couldn't help but notice this: there's this huge flap of skin that i have but it's not in the pictures. it's between my vagina lips and its big enough that it lies in right in between my lips. I really dont know what it is, could someone try to tell me?

ConfusedAndCurious,

Congratulations on taking the first step of familiarizing yourself whith what is going on in your body.

A lot of us have long inner lips (labia major). This can hang out substantially outside your outer lips and be very uneven and even oddly colored. Between the inner lips you can find the vulva floor (also called the vestibule). This area is normally a healthy and shiny pink color and it can be smooth or very bumpy. In this floor, you find your pee hole and the vaginal entrance. If the flap you are seeing is covering part of your vaginal opening, it is your hymen. Depending on where you are in puberty, it can be a thin membrane, a skin like flap (or small flaps around the opening) or the shape can look like a hair scrunchy around the outside edge of your vaginal opening.

susan, I am a male but it is my understanding that the inner lips of the female body are the labia minoras, and not the labia majoras as you stated.
The outside lips are the labia majoras
.
If I am correct please make the correction in your post, and if I am not, please let me know.
Take care now!!!!

Yes Bo, you are correct. It is a typo. It can however not be corrected. Luckily I described it as the inner lips with the medical term in brackets. I do not hink that any woman will seriousy think that the outer lips can be long. That is the very last thing labia major are.

Thanks again!
