Fibromyalgia Answer A5035
Diagnosis that has been suggested: My doctor checked all the trigger points for fibro and I was diagnosed with all the ones in my lower, upper back, sholders and neck
Current medical status: Constant muscle tightness and constant pain.
Current medical treatment: none

Studies have found that exercise improves fitness and sleep and may reduce pain and fatigue in various people with fibromyalgia. Many patients find temporary relief by applying heat to painful areas. Those with access to physical therapy, massage, or acupuncture may find them beneficial. Most patients find exercise, even low intensity exercise to be extremely helpful. Whirlpool therapy is very beneficial. It's important that the water temperature be at least 95 degrees Fahrenheit.

Endometriosis can be treated with analgesics, hormonal therapy (birth control pills), anti-androgens, GnRH-analogs and surgically (laparoscopic burning of the endometriotic lesions).

Your boyfriend can only give you psycho-emotional support.
