Hello,

Welcome to the ehealthforum and I am really glad to help you out. The cause of the numbness needs to be looked into.

Commonly it is due to the damage to the nerves which can happen as a result of the deficiency of some important vitamins like vitamin B1, B6 & B12.

It makes sense to take these vitamins as supplements as they should help in improving the symptoms.

However, if the symptoms persist, then you should consult a neurologist and get a Nerve conduction velocity test done as that should help in ruling out other causes of the symptoms you're going through. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
