Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
PCOS or polycystic ovarian syndrome/disease is characterized by long gaps between periods, changes in period pattern and duration, abdominal bloating, hirsutism, weight gain, acne worsening, infertility, etc. If PCOS is suspected, go ahead with visiting your doctor/gynecologist for thorough examination and further evaluation (hormonal and blood work-up along with ultrasound scan). Treatment as appropriate (based on examination and investigations results) would be started to help you control the symptoms and regulate your periods. Be in regular monitoring and follow-up with your treating doctor/gynecologist and report any new/abnormal symptoms immediately. Drink plenty of water. Take adequate rest. Maintain healthy diet and lifestyle.
Take care.
