The problem with politics and medical marijuana
Posted: 05-27-08 20:32pm

The problem with medical marijuana isn't the fact that it is a proven help to people who suffer from all kinds of illnesses from AIDS to Multiple Sclerosis to OCD and Anorexia and many many other illnesses..the problem is politics and intolerant people who are more concerned with there agenda than the rights of chronically or terminally ill people. In this youtube video the Governor ignores a boy with MS who is in a wheelchair and walks away without a second thought. That is the attitude of many people who see marijuana as a "gateway" drug or a recreational drug. Although many people use Oxycodone, Vicodine,Valium,Xanex,Codine and thousands of other drugs for recreation they are still legal. This is biased and just not right. Thousands if not millions of people need medical marijuana and are denied the acces legally to it for old school and ignorant reasons. If anything should be an illegal drug it should be alcohol and tobacco, they have no redeeming properties yet people have no problem drinking alcohol and smoking tobacco simply because the government approves. How ridiculous..so many people are just like sheep...follow the leader and dont think about the big picture.
