hi, Iv had a birth control injection about 2 months ago, and its the first time iv tried birth control apart from condoms, but i always seem to be having mood swings, really severe ones, i feel depressed all the time, and go from being really happy to really sad, sometimes it even becomes suicidal. I have crazy thoughts, and always seem to think my husband is cheating on me, iv started to hate myself because i cant seem to control my emotions, either always crying or feeling low.
I dont know if its the hormones, and if different injections have different effects on people.
Has anyone else experienced anything like this from birth control injections?

I had a very good experience on the birth control injection but I have heard of other women who had severe emotional and physical changes while on the shot or on the birth control pill. You may have to switch to an alternate form of birth control if it is affecting you this badly.
