Ok, so Chu talks, he mostly says single
words and a few basic sentences. So why
did he wake up in the middle of the night
last night and have a whole sleepy
conversation with Miguel? I didn't even
know he was capable of it. It went like
this (not word for word but pretty close,
I was so amazed I'll probably remember it
forever)
Miguel: Why are you up Chuy? You should
be sleeping.
Chuy: I no wan to.
Miguel: Daddy's going to put you back to
bed. Do you want to sleep with Daddy
tonight?
Chu: No
Miguel: Do you want to sleep with Mami?
Chu: No
Miguel: Do you want to sleep by yourself?
Chu: No
Miguel: Well what do you want to do
then?
Chu: I no wan seepie (sleep) Papi.
Miguel: Well, you have to go to sleep,
Chu because Mami and Papi have to sleep
too.
Chu: Mami no seepie, Papi no seepie, I no
seepie. I wan wash (watch) teebee (TV).
Yeah, so when the kid is mumbling and
pretending like he doesn't have a clue
what's going on, or how to talk, I know
now what a giant faker he is.

hehe thats soo cute and funny, he is soooo
smart, at least compared to joseph, joseph
just startd talking in phrases. But he is
in speech therapy. i think most kids call
it a teebee. i wish i could spell the way
joseph says american idol its strange but
i know what it means and teeeuh is pizza,
he says peepee and poopoo but cant manage
pizza the right way hehe.
