hey. in a recent study on exzema they found taking vitamin d orally produces more Cathelicidin. which helps skin infection and producing proper skin. could this be used in the fight against herpes? has anyone taken vitamin d supplements in high doses?

when im well enough again i might be able to try it.

lysine helps some people but vitamin d has not been explored i dont think.

anyone willing to try or have any input?

Oral herpes or genital herpes infection is manifested with painful blisters appearing near the area where the virus has entered the body (skin), but virus hides deep in nerve roots, and gets activated from time to time.
Although, a vit D has effect on immune system and in its active form is produced in skin layers, I assume it can help fighting the viral infection such as herpes infection.

seeing as the skins sheds could it also help heal the scars left behind?

i assume its never been really researched for herpes properly especially seing as it can't be patented. this leaves the research down to us right?

you ever considered trying it MandMs? im not sure how much to experiment with it (in terms of how high the dosage should be)? especially seeing as theres like 3 different forms of vitamin D?

when im well enough hopefully i can go out and try it.

any help would be appreciated.
