Q: tetanus shot nail

i stepped on a rusty nail earlier today and was wondering if i should get a tetanus shot? i'm 16, so i'm quite sure i've gotten one in the last 2 or 3 years and the nail didn't go very deep at all. there was quite a bit of bleeding but i think it went in maybe barely 1/4 of an inch. so i get a tetanus shot anyway?

If less than 5 years passed since your last shot of vaccination for tetanus, you shouldn't get anything after this accident.
The wound should be treated locally, cleaned and treated with disinfectant.
