I was wondering if you can give general advise on this matter.
Question: Do you think a dose of 100mg of 1% testosterone topical 1x daily would be too much for a man with primary hypogonadism (no testes) to take (starting off) prior to blood work, to get a baseline. I am going to make a switch in brands for $$$ and doctors (persone reasoning). I do understand everything depends on blood work and I am not asking for Exact Expert advise due to that. I've been on 50mg for a while now and do not feel it is enough. I have all the symptoms of low T. I do not want to jump up in ten/mg (10) dosages and get blood checked 2x daily until a good value is reached...no insuranse. I've been through all this and tests have been either mis-conducted in one way or another or mis-interpreted, (my reasoning to see another doctor). Very frustrated and bottom line is I need this medication.
It's not like I have Low T without it...I have no T without it, except for the adrenial T??? I am reading so much about other men who have low T with testicles and are taking anywhere from 50mg to 150mg topical 1x daily. Please advise.

I have a light hypogonadism. My doctors suck and I am taking matters into my own hand. And yes I have Low T. I heard Andriol is used for guys like us. But also, instead of the topical cream/gel, you may want to consider injections. Do more research and I know its tough. Sad, depressed, no motovation, cant sleep, relationship matters, etc.. I know it all buddy. Hang in there, and stay strong!

Again, take matters into your OWN hands! Because most doctors dont give a crap and are not knowledgabel enough about this. Make google your bestfriend and use it for researching. Optimal levels for all men are between 700 and 800. Mine is 286.
