The data you provided (thick dark blood one week after the end of the period, enlarged breasts, stomach cramps and bloating) might be related to a hormonal imbalance. Sometimes there are hormonal changes in the female body that cause changes in the menstrual cycle. Depending on what hormone turns out to be dominant, its effects are the ones that are felt most.

You might want to visit your gynecologist for a physical examination and hormonal laboratory tests. Please note that the symptoms you reported might be related to ovulation bleeding which is usually light instead of the thick bleeding that you experienced, and the rest of the symptoms might be related to pregnancy (the home pregnancy tests might have been false negative). Since the most probable therapy for the hormonal imbalance would be hormones, it is advisable to rule out even the smallest chance for pregnancy because inadequate hormones might cause an abortion.
