I am in a similar position. About two and
a half months ago I got a sore penis.
After unsuccessfully treating myself for
thrush (didn't have it) I visited the GUM
clinic. I have been tested for everything
apart from syphilis three times and it has
all come back negative. The doctor at the
GUM clinic has not tested me for syphilis
he told me that I had no symptoms that
would ring any bells with him. I am now on
my 3rd lot of antibiotics for diseases
that he knows I haven't got. When, and I
repeat WHEN this doesn't work I will have
to go and see a urologist. My right
testicle now hurts so much I can not work
and even washing the car puts me in agony
for hours.
You have had the problem for so much
longer than me, so I would suggest you put
the following idea into your doctors head.
I read on a forum that someone with a
similar problem was eventually diagnosed
with a appendix problem which in turn
infected the lymph noides. Just an idea
