Ok, I am curious about an issue with my testicles. Both of my testicles keep changing firmness, although my right one sometimes feels tender to the touch. Both react to hot water and an ice pack, although the left one usually feels softer. The right one is still squishy and never feels rock-hard. In fact, both of them feel about the same, although the right one is slightly firmer and more tender to the touch.

I should note that I had a hernia in my right scrotum a few years and had surgery to correct it. One other thing is that there is a small bump on the right testicle that hasn't grown in size. Its been there for almost two weeks...

So, what could be happening? Did I injure my testicle somehow and cause this? Could it be an effect of masturbation(at one point I did do it several times a day, often within a few hours), a remnant of my hernia surgery, or something more serious?

I thought it could be cancer, but it seems to react to heat and an ice pack so I'm unsure about what it could be. Also, absetince has seemed to help with the tenderness.
