Q: Tested too early??

Hi there I did a pregnancy test yeasterday (7th aug), which came back negative. My period isn't due until 13th Aug but I just couldnt resist doing one. My nipples have been very erect, not overley sensitive thought,and I have been quite tired. Is it possible I am pregnant and just tested too soon. I know I should have waited until I missed my period but I thought if I were pregnant it might detect it. It was just a really cheap test. dunno if this makes a difference? thanks

Definitely to early to test. Best time to test is 7 days past a missed period (and don't use the cheap ones then).
If an egg did get fertilized it is probably not even implanted yet.

Hi there, I ovulated on 29th July as i used OPK's and we had sex 2 days before then, on the 29th and then 2 days after. my period is due in 5 days time. would implantation not have taken place by now? thanks for the advice Smile

It takes the egg about 9 or 10 days after ovulation to get down to the uterus lining and start the implantation.
