Q: test results

i have not come on my period for about a week now, and i do have regular periods, i have taken a test and has came up negative, however i have had no sign of coming on my period, and when my mom fell pregnant, the pregnancy test result never came possitive until she was 3 months gone. is there any chance of me being pregnant? (me and my boyfriend have been trying for a baby for 6 months)
