I have a weird problem. I have already graduated from college and do pretty well on written tests but I can't seem to master tests that require demonstrating a skill. I'm also a flight instructor (fly airplanes for a living) and cannot take medication or I will loose what I went to college for as well as my job. But it seems every demonstration test I take I turn into someone completely different. I took a weekend motorcycle class which is supposed to be easy. I did great with the entire class, even the examiners aid I did great, but I failed the test. I just choked! Thats the second time I've taken it because of test anxiety. I'm so lost what to do.
You definitely have a problem called as performance anxiety ,well its difficult to get rid off. What i suggest you is you star performing in front of your friends and relatives repeatedly till you gain confidence..You can also do things to reduce stage frights like performing in front of unknown people, particioate in debates..all will help you gain confidence and clear your exams...
