I am being treated for possible severe
tendonitis or possible torn tendon. My
doctor has put me in a boot cast for 5
weeks. My question is has anyone been
through this before and if so what kind of
symptoms did you have with tendonitis. I
am concerned b/c most of the symptom lists
I have seen talk @ pain in the heel or
back of ankle. Most of my pain is on the
upper side of my foot. I am concerned that
the doctor is putting off an mri to see if
this boot cast helps at all for another 5
weeks. I failed to have any change with a
trial of steroids. Also any advice on
wearing the cast comfortably would be
helpful as well. I am having difficulty
b/c of the heighth difference it causes
with my other leg. I already have pretty
severe knee and back problems.

I HAVE NOW BEEN IN THE BOOT FOR 11 WEEKS.
I FINALLY HAD AN MRI DONE ABOUT 3-4 WEEKS
AGO WHICH SHOWED A TORN LIGAMENT AND
POSSIBLE TORN TENDON. I HAVE SURGERY
SCHEDULED FOR 7/31 TO REPAIR THE DAMAGE.
