celinaflores,

Sensation to the skin is provided by specific nerves for specific areas.

The anterior thigh is innervated by the anterior femoral cutaneous nerve and the lateral thigh is innervated by the lateral femoral cutaneous nerve. Both of these nerves are branches of the femoral nerve.

It may be, that during your C-section the femoral nerve was manipulated, causing problems to some of its branches. Swelling and hematoma formation can also cause these symptoms.

But, if it was due to swelling the symptoms should go away in a few weeks or so.

If you continue to have problems, you should probably see a neurologist for an evaluation.

Good luck.
