For 3 weeks now, I'm experiencing a tender spot (size less than 1cm) on my right breast, it's on the inner quadrant, close to the ribcage. I don't think it's related to the ribcage or muscles there, because if I pinch the breast tissue, it still hurts.

I can't feel a lump, except for maybe a tender, rubbery, soft tissue that's on the ribcage and that's very moveable. It doesn't feel wrong.

Went to a doctor, had a thorough breast exam and ultrasound. The doctor couldn't palpate any abnormal lump or mass and the ultrasound showed nothing on the area. I was diagnosed with fibrocystic breasts and had a couple of dilated ducts as well.

Doctor told me I had nothing to worry about and that I should return again in 6 months.

Yesterday I palpated my breast again and managed to increase my pain to touch from mild (in the morning) to moderate-severe (at night). Of course I'm panicked now, I can feel it very very tender and I'm very worried this could be breast cancer. Is it likely?

My mother had breast cancer at 52 and I'm currently 26 (27 in September). I also had a MRI done a couple of months before this pain started, and it was clear except for diffuse mastosis and 2 small 5-6mm fibroadenomas in different areas.

Please any help appreciated.

Is it because I posted the same message twice? It was a mistake, I only wanted to post in Breast Cancer forum...

Not really, nothing like that. Sometimes when I touch that area repeatedly and make it really sore, I can feel some pain radiating vaguely to my arm and base of the neck... Does this mean anything?

Also I wanted to add, I first felt this pain after I had been very physically active - I had to carry and move a lot of furniture during one weekend, and then I felt the pain by accident when taking a shower, that very Sunday evening, after all the physical straining. I didn't associate it with the physical activity though, and I didn't feel any back pain.

Well, it seems that you have pinched and dislocated nerves in your upper back, neck, shoulder and arm areas. Those nerves need to be reset soonest as it will get worst before it gets better. I know as I have been a healer(specialist in resetting pinched & dislocated nerves) for more than 14 years in Halifax in the Atlantic Canada.

By the way, breast cancer is not hereditary so do not think of that. Hope you are not wearing Underwire and push-up bras as they have been known to cause breast cancer.

Thank you for your help!
Could it be that the nerves were pinched during the physical straining? And what can I do to make it heal? I noticed that if I don't press that spot for 3-4 days, it gets better, but it's still there. Also, is it consistent with pinched nerves that I only feel the pain when pressing on that area and only vaguely so otherwise?

Please tell me what I can do about it and thank you!

I know that some breast cancers are hereditary, but not all...

Yes, nerves get pinched and/or dislocated during physical activities which the body is not accustomed to.

Breast cancer are not hereditary at all as we all have cancer cells in our body but they are not developed so do not believe that it is hereditary. Breast cancer come from the lymphatic nodes which the circulation is cut off by either underwire & push-up bras or by clothing which is worn too tight over the breasts. Once these are cut off, the nodes swell up, turning to tumours and than, cancer. That is why it is imperative to wear proper bras and have breast massage on a regular base.

As long as you do not make any physical activities and any sorts, it will keep the pain down. Nerves that need to be reset, can not go back unless they are reset by a specialist in this field. Until you do find one, you can take 2 x Ibuprophen 400 mg each every time you need it for the pain but no more than 6 per day. I wish I could help you more as I believe you do not live near me.
