tender nipples

I want to know whats going on with me my nipples has been sore for the past 3 weeks now and i had unprotected sex and i been feeling nausea and hungry also sleepy but then again i havent got my period over 2 months now because im irregular person with my period im suppose to be on birth control for me to get a period, my doc says i have poly cytis ovary sydrome but then again can a woman still ovulate without having a period??? Cause im getting cramps like if i was goin to get my period but nothing happen..so im want to know if i can be pregnant or not.. i can do home prego test but they always come back negative but i recently havent done a home test,
